În anul 2020, începând din martie experimentăm obligativitatea distanțării sociale, care nu este principiu scriptural . Înțeleg că suntem în plină pandemie, și molima SARS– CoV-2 se poate transmite de la om la om, dar asta presupune o distanțare fizică și nicidecum o distanțare socială. Avem nevoie de apropiere socială. Da, Biserica lui Christos a fost supusă unui test enorm. Ce faci când nu te poți apropia de membrii Bisericii lui Christos, păstrând distanța socială. Puțini slujitori ai Bisericii lui Christos au făcut ce a făcut păstorul John MacArthur, ca să dau numai un exemplu. S-a dus de unul singur (cu cei care trebuiau să înregistreze) la locul de închinare a Bisericii. Nu a chemat pe nimeni alții. După 2-3 duminici s-a umplut locul de închinare, fără să fie chemați. Avem aici declarația păstorului John după câteva întâlniri cu Biserica.
