 I'm an American linguist who married a Romanian-American and now summers with 

her in her native country.

 I've created a five phase program of free language materials for learning basic 

Romanian and made them available on the internet. Other American friends with 

Romanian spouses have found these useful before travel, as well as parents 

wanting to help their children learn at least a basic level of the language.

The program includes a PDF file of the script and five MP3 files of the 

materials pronounced by a native speaker.
